the test server even with the high drop rate has been plagued by players being unable to get their hands on r5 even r4 gear, especially staves. I am 104 now with only an r5 belt and weapon on myself and sanddragon armor on my dragon. Some players have no r5 gear for themselves and pets. This is leading to very high prices for r5 gear, even more than the expensive tortus and yeti servers. crazyness!
r6 gear is even harder to find.
if drops are hard to get on a test server with 10x drops….what about on the live servers. something needs to be done.

this event is currently on the korean and EU servers and it was confirmed by itoki that we will get it with e5.
Evidently the gifts are rings and medals. the rings each give +30 to a stat and all can be combined to make a ring that gives all stats?

i dont read korean :)

Leveled in nm 3 mob and went boss hunting for a few hours. used my first ss. I hit 110 and pets are currently:

my dragon

101 + 11 evo2 cerb

72(?) sally evo2 +10

95 + 10 hawkman

my angel 109 +19 evo2

Well I hope everyone had fun in the test server, it was a nice experience to see the new pets and stuff (many people level to 110 in under a week which is impressive if i may say, even without stamina savers half the time) anyway personally I didn’t play the beta much due to lack of interest and a busy life schedule.

Tomorrow marks the last day of Rappelz Epic 5 Beta, remember to screenshot your hardwork since its going to disappear at the tone of the hour in California.

As for the official release of Epic 5, patching will begin on the conclusion of maintenance on Tuesday August 12, 2008. It will be most likely a new launcher to allow the game to self patch itself, although I could be wrong ;p.

A mass creature respec will happen so be sure you know your pet skills well and don’t screw it up!

Well I been waiting forever to see what the new R6 cloak would look like in Rappelz Epic 5, pretty much was the determining factor of whether or not I was gonna level to 120 or not. Well look at it….

As I expected, UGLY and black! Why does everything have to suck at 120+? and where is that friggin angel cape I saw in the GM preview of Epic 5????

As you may know Rappelz Epic 5 is gonna be released tommorow! Heres the news!

We will have extended maintenance this week. Maintenance is expected to last from 21:00 Tuesday 8/12 to 06:00 Wednesday 8/13. The reason for this extended maintenance is we will be updating the game to the new version: Rappelz Epic 5.

Here are the times in various areas of the world:

Los Angeles 21:00 Tuesday 8/12 to 06:00 Wednesday 8/13

New York 00:00 Wednesday 8/13 to 09:00 Wednesday 8/13

GMT 04:00 Wednesday 8/13 to 13:00 Wednesday 8/13

Paris 06:00 Wednesday 8/13 to 15:00 Wednesday 8/13

Yea I know it says its release is essentially on the 13th, but technically all live servers will be offline for the entire day so they can append the new Epic 5 client to the servers and distribute the Epic 5 executable. Be patient, the time is here! Sadly we had to be the last to get Epic 5 when everyone else already got it (Korea already got Part 2 in a way).
