Alternatively you can use your Epic 4 client and use the internal patching system when Epic 5 is released for you on the specific dates. Highly recommend downloading the client from the site since there are alot of problems with the internal patching system.

We will have extended maintenance this week. Maintenance is expected to last from 21:00 Tuesday 8/12 to 06:00 Wednesday 8/13. The reason for this extended maintenance is we will be updating the game to the new version: Rappelz Epic 5.

pets have no jp and no skills.
but you can see weapon glows.
new npc are not there.
i just installed and logged in to move stuff over to my main.

installation:
go to the client link and download the client then uninstall e4. then install e5.
OR
let it patch tomorrow
OR
download manual patch and do it yourself
OR
download the torrent.
I got very fast speeds using the fileplanet link when I downloaded the client.
Now onto logging in using the e5 client.
- glows on weapons - I can see them today!
- pets have zero jp but zero skills available BUT you can see the skills available.

Yep as of right now Epic 4 is offline and the servers are being patched with Epic 5. I had loads of fun near the end of Epic 4, and managed to get much of a preview with Epic 5 running on Epic 4 servers. You know… Visiting various Epic 5 locations only etc! So much fun! Near the end everyone had a shouting contest of who would be last to shout in Epic 4, I didn’t see who oh well :p.

Don’t forget as of this message Epic 4 just went down. Its 11:00 pm right now and Epic 5 should be up at 8:00 am tomorrow morning!

Thats 10 hours of waiting yay!

launcher working and updating update server up status says all servers up except test server of course but unable to login. 1.5 hrs maintenance left probably

servers have been up since 6:15am PST USA.

People seem tentative to skill pets and I agree.

Of note:

level helper will not reward you at all if you are above 50, even if you have not gotten anything from it.

I was able to get an r5 weapon, not one i need, from gift npc.

People are running into new dungeon and dieing
