There seems to be some new armor in the new Epic. So far I have only seen one, but according to the changelog there are some new armors for every rank and I have seen some. I cannot find any screenshots of them but I will note them when I have screenshots of them.

For the record, the new R4 Mage armor is ugly :p. The character clothing designers need to choose better outfits to make this game appealing again. The only sexy outfit I like is the kahuna r3 armor, green or red ;p.

Epic 5 - Part 1 Patch Notes Pets: Pet Skills have been renewed. Angels, Centaurs, Salamanders, and Hawkmen have their own skills. Pets will gain stat points with every level now. Pet’s buffs can no longer be cast on random players; they are limited to the pet and the owner. Two new pets have been added, Cerberus and White Dragon. Area and Dungeon: A new area, Veiled Island, and a new dungeon, Temple of the Ancients, have been added. This dungeon contains monsters from level 125 to level 150, the boss: Betrayal. The entrance to this new area is located south of Lasky and northwest of Rondo. Client: New logo and loading screen art have been added. Items: Rank 6 weapons and shield have been added. All enchanted weapons will now have a “glow.” New Rank 1- Rank 5 armors and helms have been added. Weights of certain items have been adjusted. Players are now able to hold up to 10,000,000,000 rupees and store up to 100,000,000,000 rupees. Decorative Pets, Helmet Crab and Sun Rabbit, have been added. Empty bottles and Creature Wind Scrolls have been added to Merchant NPCs. Drops: Drop rate for certain consumables have been tweaked. All monsters can drop a pet card. Not much change from Epic4, however I have to say the skill tooltips and the red named aggro pets are good, but most won’t effect anyone until they hit R5 and R6 Those Koreans must have no life, Players are now able to hold up to 10,000,000,000 rupees and store up to 100,000,000,000 rupees… Who would ever get that high, I doubt that much would even be on one of our servers in total!

Altered Pieces look a bit overpowered, it would double my stats on most of my characters, but at least the price is to suit. Feather of Teleportation also looks like a useful feature, hopefully they will put that in the achievement center. Ancient Horseshoe looks a bit useless, I found my Lydian to be fast enough but there are always, those city folk who rip through the quiet countryside with no regard for us at all. Pet Re-Spec will be popular since people will be breaking their pets left right and center due to lack of infomation of the new Epic5 pet skills. Decorative pets look like a waste of time however, don’t even pick up loot or do anything important.. that and the tortus looks better

I reported many days ago that there were new cash shop weapon packages in the Cash Shop. Well heres the official scoop.

I don’t know if your willing to ‘get them while you can’ but it has been noted that the Rank 5 weapons offered are of the OLD design (Rank 4 models with Rank 5 stats). Also they are expensive (18-22 dollars). Enjoy :p.

There seems to have been a update to the game at the conclusion of the Tuesday Maintenance. I haven’t taken a look at what has changed first hand, but here is a preliminary guess.

- Some textual changes
- Some small icon changes (The file is too big to be just textual changes only)

There are some reports that the new R5/R6 Capes and Helms were added to the game. I believe this to not be true as they were avaliable since the Epic 5 Beta, possibly whatever change Tanda mentioned way back is what is applied now. Pretty soon the R5/R6 Capes and Helms will be added.
