they listened to us again - this is getting to be nice. not that i am going to buy them but… a mid-week package ftw.

[Update] Reaction to the Pet Card Sale

There has been alot of negative reaction towards the Pet Card Sale since some players have failed all six pet cards from the sale. Essentially the players have given gala-net 25 dollars for free. This is unfair to my eyes, but here is a possible legitimate reason (bullshit) that makes gala-net able to do this.
The game’s base taming rate is low, but not so low as to not allow any taming period.
The sale pet cards are indeed pet cards of the same as a dropped farmed pet card, but in a global scale the taming rate is bound to the number of taming attempts happening at a certain time. This meaning that you have a increase in failing pet cards (both non sale and sale). This essentially allows the company to gain profit without any global effect on the game’s economy. Also this is a legitimate way to sell pet cards since these cards are indeed the originals in a unaffected form.
There is also the possibility that these cards are a affected form which have a higher failing rate, but if evidence that supports this theory comes out, the company will be screwed literally :p.
